Thorough preparations are being conducted for the elections of President in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
All the necessary conditions are also being created in Tashkent city electoral district No 14 so that the elections of President of the Republic of Uzbekistan take place at a high level.
Separate offices have been allocated for the chairman of the district electoral commission, the deputy chairman, the secretary and members of the district electoral commission as well as the press service. These offices have been fitted out with the necessary equipment.
“The necessary measures are being carried out in order to explain in great detail the electoral legislation to voters as the forthcoming election is an important socio-political event in the life of our country. The work plan of the district electoral commission has been approved, and its members are on duty. The press centre for coverage of the election has been provided with the necessary literature and methodological booklets,” says the chairman of the district electoral commission, Ahmadkhoja Yunuskhojayev.
The following tasks are within the remit of the district electoral commission for the elections of President of the Republic of Uzbekistan: forming electoral precincts, giving them sequential numbers, publishing their list and addresses in media and coordinating the work of precinct electoral commissions. Therefore, 713 electoral precincts have been formed in Tashkent. Information about the boundaries of each electoral precinct, specifying the addresses of the buildings of precinct electoral commissions has been published in mass media for voters.
