WOMEN'S ENTREPRENEURSHIP IS A PATH TO PROSPERITY

A training seminar has taken place in Andijon on this topic.

The event was held as part of the “Prosperous living at hand” project by the Tadbirkor Ayol businesswomen’s association of Uzbekistan in cooperation with the regional branch of Khalq Banki. It was said during the training seminar that special attention paid to the development of small business and private entrepreneurship in the country and to the wide attraction of women and young people to enterprise was producing great results.

The seminar was attended by specialists of the bank, businesswomen and young people desiring to engage in small business. There was an exchange of opinions at the seminar on the attraction of women and girls to entrepreneurship, work being carried out by the Tadbirkor Ayol association in this area and the issue of fruitful use of bank credits.

The regional branch of the Tadbirkor Ayol association is providing girls desiring to engage in enterprise with practical help to obtain credits. Events and meetings are being held on such issues as starting up enterprises, taxation law, privileges and preferences being given to the private sector and the fruitful use of bank credits, and the necessary advice and recommendations are being given at them.

Speeches were heard on such subjects as “Entrepreneurship is a path to prosperity”, “Banks’ role in the development of women’s enterprise” and “Taxes, privileges and possibilities”. Specialists gave detailed answers to questions from participants in the seminar. An exhibition of clothing and knitwear produced by women and girls was arranged.
