Weightlifting: memoranda signed with the federations of Italy, France and South Korea

Deputy Minister of Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Vice-President of the Asian Weightlifting Federation, First Deputy Chairman of the Weightlifting Federation of Uzbekistan Shakhrillo Makhmudov, who participates in the World Cup events in Phuket, Thailand, which provides rating points for the Olympic Games Paris 2024, holds meetings with officials of several leading foreign countries.

In particular, memorandums of cooperation were signed with the national federations of Italy, France and South Korea.

The documents, which envisage taking relations to a new level of international cooperation in training professional athletes, assimilating advanced foreign experience and attracting foreign qualified specialists, and widespread introduction of innovative technologies and scientific and analytical approaches, are noteworthy in that they aim to ensure the comprehensive development of weightlifting in Uzbekistan.
