Round table on theme "The progress of cooperation between Uzbekistan, International Labour Organization and World Bank in the implementation of international labor standards", which has been held in Tashkent, quickened wide interest among expert circles in Greece.

Economic analyst, Chief editor of the radio station "CHANNEL 1" Nikos Bardunias commenting our country’s cooperation with the International Labour Organization (ILO) and other international and regional organizations, noted that today Uzbekistan is dynamically developing state and a full member of the world community, which plays an important role in the system of international relations.

— Country’s experience in implementing large-scale democratic and socio-economic reforms is of growing interest abroad as a successful model for sustained progress. Within short period considerable efforts on prevention of child labor have been made.

In turn, the leading Greek journalist Kostas Tsaruhas drew attention to the fact that the effective cooperation of Uzbekistan in the framework of international and regional organizations, promotes its image in the international arena.

The Greek expert stressed that the development of cooperation between Uzbekistan and ILO, International Organization of Employers (IOE), International Trade Union Confederation (ITUC), World Bank, as well as significant work on the implementation of the Convention by holding meetings, round tables, conferences and training seminars It is proof of the commitment and interest of the Government in addressing the pressing issues of social justice, employment, and to prevent the worst forms of forced labor.
