The volume of carried out work on environmental protection in the country is commendable. Creation of the Ecological Movement of Uzbekistan and provision of 15 parliamentary seats in the parliament for the first time in the history, the members of this social organization are clear proof of the paid attention to this urgent issue at the state level. An effective control over protection and use of land, water, forests, subsurface resources, air, flora and fauna has been carried out.
