UZBEKISTAN TO HOST THE THIRD EUROPEAN FILM FESTIVAL

European Film Festival will take place in Tashkent from May 22 to 31, in the Palace of Cinema named after Alisher Navoiy (Panorama). The event is organized by the Delegation of the European Union in Uzbekistan in cooperation with the National Agency "Uzbekkino".

This is the third edition of the festival and this year will feature 18 films from 15 European countries. Viewers will be shown a comedy of the Czech Republic and Poland, the tragicomedy of Germany, the picture-biography of the Danish action comedy from Switzerland, documentaries from Slovakia and Finland, children’s film from Latvia and Greece, and the best European drama.

Most of the films will be shown with subtitles in Russian language, some films are duplicated in Russian. Entrance to all sessions is free.
