During a telephone conversation on March 23 this year, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, expressed deep condolences to the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, and the friendly Russian people in connection with the numerous casualties as a result of the terrorist attack in the Crocus City Hall in Moscow region.

On behalf of the country’s multinational people, the President of Uzbekistan conveyed words of support to the victims’ families and wished for a speedy recovery for all those injured. The strong condemnation of this crime against innocent people was once again emphasized.

In turn, the Leader of Russia sincerely thanked the President of Uzbekistan for his words of support during this difficult hour and his willingness to provide the necessary assistance. An agreement was reached to intensify bilateral cooperation to combat this evil – a threat to our countries’ security and sustainable development.
