Uzbekistan is celebrating the 27th anniversary of Independence in Poland

On the eve of celebration of independence of Uzbekistan in Warsaw, the book to “The 27th Anniversary of Independent and Stable Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan” was published in Polish.

The book tells about the achievements of the country during the years of independence in political, socio-economic, cultural and other fields.

Special attention is paid to implementation of the Action Strategy on five priority areas of development in 2017-2021 under the leadership of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. In particular, a detailed analysis is given to the achievements of the country in such important areas as economic development, banking reforms, as well as transformation in agriculture and measures for development of healthcare and sports, ensuring social protection of the population.

According to the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Poland, an important place in publications is occupied by priorities in foreign policy, economic cooperation, primarily with the UN, the EU and other countries and regions. The authors introduce readers to the key international initiatives of Uzbekistan, thanks to which relations with foreign countries and organizations have risen to a qualitatively new level.

As reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, special sections are devoted to the development of Uzbekistan – Poland relations in political, economic and humanitarian spheres, improvement of tourism infrastructure in Uzbekistan and the main tourist routes, peculiarities of the national cuisine. In a concise form, information is also provided on what a Polish tourist should know, who plans to visit the country.
