Military delegation led by the head of Department of Information and Mass Communications of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Uzbekistan, lieutenant colonel Bakhrom Zulfikarov visited China to study the activities of the military press and exchange experience.
The delegation met with representatives of the Ministry of National Defense of the People’s Republic of China.
The parties exchanged views on the current state of military cooperation between the defense agencies of the two countries, information activities, features, similarities and differences of the media. Promising areas of cooperation between information departments were also discussed.
The military delegation of Uzbekistan visited the broadcasting department of the Media Center of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army and got acquainted with the activities of the Chinese press. The guests were shown the technical capabilities of the center.
Uzbekistan servicemen were also invited to the editorial office of Jenmin Jibao newspaper, whose founder is the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China.
The delegation also visited the Faculty of Journalism of the People’s University of China, which facilitated the exchange of experience in training military personnel in the military press.
