Uzbekistan at XXI exhibition UITT-2015 "Ukraine - Travel and Tourism"

At XXI exhibition UITT-2015 "Ukraine - Travel and Tourism" Uzbek national stand was presented for the first time, which was prepared by diplomatic mission of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Ukraine.

The event brought together tourism companies, hotels and airlines of more than 100 countries worldwide.

Uzbekistan’s stand enjoyed great popularity among the visitors, it was decorated in traditional style, with colorful photos and pictures showing the beauty of natural landscapes, ancient cities, architectural monuments and attractions of our country. Among other things, there were presented products of folk masters, craftsmen and national samples of tissues, which allowed visitors to get the most complete and vivid picture of the country and its rich tourism opportunities.

For three days the stand was visited by representatives of more than 300 tourism companies, trade unions and associations, journalists, media in Ukraine, as well as representatives of tourism agencies of foreign countries, international airlines and investment structures.

In the course of exploring the tourism potential of Uzbekistan exhibitors expressed their opinions regarding ongoing in our country focused work to address critical social and economic problems, including the tourism industry, which contributed to its dynamic development.

According to the chairman of the Subcommittee on tourism resorts and recreational activities of the Verkhovna Rada (Parliament) of Ukraine Anna Romanova, Uzbekistan, having a great tourist potential, is a country with a highly developed culture and art. She described the situation in our country as a favorable, with open good prospects for Ukrainian travel companies to develop their business in the country.

According to the chairman of the Committee on Tourism and Resorts International Chamber of Commerce of Ukraine Elena Shapovalova, our country has great potential in tourism sector, that’s why the exposition of Uzbekistan has attracted so much attention of visitors.

In turn, one of the organizers of the event - director of "Premier Expo" company Alexander Garashenko stressed that the republic for the first time is participating in activities of an event of tourist character in Ukraine and he was very pleased to see here pavilion of Uzbekistan - a country famous for its unique hospitality worldwide. According to him, this event has allowed numerous visitors and travel professionals to see firsthand the dynamic development in all spheres of social life in Uzbekistan, in particular the tourism industry.
