Uzbekistan and Poland discuss prospects for cooperation in the Afghan direction

Yesterday, the Special Representative of the President of Uzbekistan for Afghanistan Ismatulla Irgashev held a meeting with Special Representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland for Afghanistan Witold Sobkow and Deputy Director of the Eastern Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland Marek Calka, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

According to the MFA, during the talks, the sides discussed acute topics of bilateral interaction in the Afghan direction, as well as prospects for further expansion of Uzbek-Polish cooperation in the context of promoting regional stability and security.

The sides reaffirmed mutual interest in continuing a systemic and constructive dialogue on the issues of Afghan settlement and agreed to maintain regular consultations.
