"UZBEKISTAN AIRWAYS" AND "BELAVIA" SIGN CODE-SHARE AGREEMENT

"Uzbekistan Airways" NAC and "Belavia" Belarusian Airlines signed an agreement on joint operation of airline (code-sharing), the press service of the Uzbek airline reports.

"This cooperation stage creates additional opportunities for passengers of bоth airlines to travel at attractive prices as well as to take advantage of convenient connections by following the transit through Minsk to destinations in Europe and the CIS, through Tashkent - to airports in Central and East Asia.

Currently there is also valid interline agreement (grants the right to register air freight on its own letterheads for the partner airline routes) and special prorate agreement between "Uzbekistan Airways" and "Belavia". In addition, electronic interline (mutual recognition of e-ticket) has been implemented, "- the statement of the airline says.

The code-share with "Belavia" airlines on the route Tashkent - Minsk - Tashkent is valid from September 15, 2016.
