Uzbekistan 2030 Strategy is entirely consistent with the priorities and principles of the ILO

The 113th Session of the International Labour Organization (ILO) continues in Geneva.

Within the framework of the conference, Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, Chairperson of the National Commission on Combating Human Trafficking and Forced Labour, Tanzila Narbayeva, met with ILO Director General Gilbert Houngbo.

The current state and prospects of cooperation between Uzbekistan and the ILO, as well as several essential initiatives and ongoing projects, were discussed at the meeting.
In particular, the consistent implementation of agreements signed annually with the ILO in the environment, labor rights, and other areas was noted.

In addition, it was emphasized that the reforms carried out within the framework of the Uzbekistan 2030 Strategy fully comply with the priority areas and principles of the ILO.
The participants also exchanged views on implementing the National Decent Work Program for 2021-2025.
