UZBEK SPORTSMEN - VICTORS OF THE FIFA WORLD SHOTOKAN KARATE-DO

August 21-23, 2015, Tokyo hosted the XII World Championship Shotokan Karate-do organized by the World Shotokan Karate-Do Federation (WSKF). Nearly 300 athletes from 46 countries, including Uzbekistan, attended it.

On match our compatriots worthily represented their homeland. In particular, in the fights "Kumite" among young men in the age group of 13 years Muhammadabdulaziz Khodjakuli won the gold medal. Muhammad Faizullaev became world champion among 16-17 years-old athletes. Shohruh Istamov won the silver medal in the age category 18-20 years.

Adham Ibrahimov, Bahodir Babayev and Muhammadsiddik Abdumutalov also became the owners of gold medals.

Our girls keep up with the boys too: Oysanam Allambergenova (age group 18-19 years) and Zulaikho Babayeva (12-13 years) won the title of world champions.

The coach of the national team of Uzbekistan Hodjamkul Khodjakulov recognized as the best trainer of the World Federation of Shotokan Karate-Do.
