TICA: DEVELOPING UZBEK-TURKISH COOPERATION

Uzbekistan with the support of the Turkish Agency for Cooperation and Coordination (TIKA) was visited by delegation of representatives fr om the Ministry of Finance, the Treasury and the social security services in Turkey for the exchange of experience and the further expansion of the Uzbek-Turkish cooperation.

During the visit, the correspondent of IA "Jahon" able to talk to members of the delegation and a representative of TIKA in Uzbekistan, who shared their views and impressions about the trip to our country and the development of bilateral relations between the two countries.

Professor Kiziltoprak Suleiman, head of TIKA in Uzbekistan:

— Activities carried out in the country TICA since 1992 in the fields of economic, trade, technical, educational, social and cultural programs, as well as a number of projects on mutually beneficial cooperation.

Within the framework of bilateral relations, we are successfully cooperating in areas such as health, education, culture, agriculture, forestry, fishing and others. Another important area of ​​effective partnership - a financial and economic. Now there is a fruitful dialogue and exchange of experience between the Uzbek and Turkish experts. In particular, last year the number of representatives of Uzbekistan, working in this area, visited Turkey, where they got acquainted with the activities of the structures in the financial sector. In turn, within the established Turkish-Uzbek cooperation is now Uzbekistan and our delegation. I think that the mutual exchange of experience will improve the skills and knowledge of our specialists in this field and the development of Turkish-Uzbek relations.

Ali Yildirim Ecker, a spokesman for the main control of the budget and financial control, the Ministry of Finance of Turkey:

— My first time in Uzbekistan and very impressed with the country. I want to say that during similar meetings held in our country, we were able to exchange views and to discuss a number of issues in the financial area. I should note that this exchange of experience gives us a good opportunity to acquire new knowledge. In particular, in the framework of this visit we discussed with their Uzbek counterparts the possible directions of programs to upgrade skills. Especially productive was the meeting in the Ministry of Finance of Uzbekistan during which there was an exchange of views on the prospects for the development of training programs for staff.

Ilyas Tufan, Head of the main department of public finance and treasury of Turkey:

— First of all, I want to note that Uzbekistan has a significant information resource in many areas, including in the economic and financial area. I think that much of what we have learned in the course of this trip, it will be useful for our future work. I take this opportunity to thank the Uzbek colleagues for their hospitality and warm welcome.

Yalcin Ay, Deputy Head of the Department for Relations with the staff of the Treasury of Turkey:

— Last year in Turkey, together with Uzbek colleagues, we discussed issues of further cooperation. Then I considered the idea of ​​a joint project in the field of advanced training for economists and financiers. During the current visit, we reviewed our promising areas for mutually beneficial cooperation in matters of training and exchange of experience.

Uzbekistan is located in the heart of Central Asia, and has not only rich in natural resources, but also the historical and cultural attractions. During this trip we took everywhere with warmth and cordiality. I hope that in the future our cooperation further strengthened.

Umer Dag, a representative of the Department of Accounting of the Ministry of Finance of Turkey:

— During the meeting discussed the development of bilateral relations, exchange of experience in the financial and economic sphere. We want to cooperate with Uzbekistan in the implementation of joint projects. Our specialists are ready to assist in strengthening and expanding mutually beneficial cooperation.

Umit Kozhadash, a specialist of the Department of EU and International Affairs Committee of the Turkish social security:

— As part of our visit to Uzbekistan, along with the exchange of experience in the field of Finance and Treasury, we also learned in your country of large-scale reforms and measures of social protection. I note that such meetings took place in Turkey. In particular, in 2014 the Uzbek specialists visited Ankara, wh ere in the course of their visit have successfully completed the presentation of Uzbekistan.

Aksoy Mehmet Galip, a specialist of the Department of Accounting of the Ministry of Finance of Turkey:

— In Tashkent, we have seen many well-known for its beauty attractions. It is gratifying to see the country that is famous for a great general and statesman Tamerlan, as well as many well-known around the world by scientists and thinkers of the East. I made sure once more that live here worthy descendants of the great and talented people of his era.

The similarity of the traditions and customs of our peoples dates back from time immemorial. I hope that the Turkish-Uzbek relations will grow and develop successfully in various fields.
