The visit of the President of Uzbekistan to China was fruitful

Yesterday, the rich program of the state visit of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has ended, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.

According to the press service of the Head of state, during his stay in Xi’an, the President of Uzbekistan held talks with the President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping. The leaders signed a Joint Statement and adopted the Program for the Development of Comprehensive Strategic Partnership in the New Era for 2023-2027.

In general, 41 bilateral documents were signed during the visit. Agreements were reached on implementing new industrial, trade, and investment projects worth more than $25 billion.

The President of Uzbekistan also visited the Exhibition of Uzbekistan – China cooperation, launched new joint projects, and met with representatives of Chinese business circles.

At the same time, the President of Uzbekistan took part in the First Central Asia – China Summit, where he made several vital proposals and initiatives to develop regional cooperation.

At the airport, the Minister of Culture and Tourism of the People’s Republic of China Hu Heping, the Governor of Shaanxi Province Zhao Gang, and a guard of honor saw off the honored guest.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev departed for Tashkent.
