The President of Uzbekistan to take part in the SCO Summit

Today, the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, at the invitation of the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi, will take part in the meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization via videoconference, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.

According to the press service of the Head of state, current issues of further deepening multifaceted cooperation within the SCO, expansion, and improvement of the Organization’s activities will be considered in accordance with the agenda of the summit.

It is envisaged that following the meeting, the SCO heads of state will make several decisions in the economic interaction, digital transformation, and ensuring regional security, as well as in the cultural-humanitarian sphere and other priority areas.
