THE ONE WHOSE MIND ENLIGHTENED WITH HIGHER KNOWLEDGE

He was ahead of his time for many centuries, its his brilliant works thoughts and ideas have had an enormous impact on the development of scientific thought and spiritual life of the Uzbek and other peoples of Central Asia in the historical period of the Eastern Renaissance. Despite the centuries, , its his artistic heritage which is a treasure trove of world importance, remains for new generations inexhaustible fount of wisdom and humanistic knowledge of the world.

Our greatest ancestor - a poet, thinker and statesman Alisher of Navoi was a remarkable person, that amazed both contemporaries us, the descendants, variety and versatility of his interests and talents an enormous desire to penetrate the mysteries and secrets of science, art and crafts. In his work, drawing on the extensive experience, gained by outstanding scientists of the medieval East and Central Asia in the field of astronomy, mathematics, chemistry, philosophy, and other sciences, he tried to comprehensively and deeply reflect the reality in all its diversity. This is evidenced by his interest in the works of Abu Ali ibn Sina, Farabi Ulugbek and many of own natural-scientific, philosophical, sociological observations. In many of his works, a brilliant poet and thinker, pushing a truly fabulous for his time ideas and thoughts tries to answer urgent questions about the fate of the universe and humanity the cosmos and of history, thus anticipating the greatest scientific and technical discoveries radically changed the life of all mankind.

Since ancient times, artistic thinking as a way of active knowledge of the universe, which makes it possible to progress as an individual, and humanity as a whole has always gone in the forefront of scientific thought. Art, like science, is also able to invent new means of expression, discover phenomena and laws. So, who lived almost the same time as the greatest representative of the Eastern Renaissance Alisher Navoi brightest representative of the Italian Renaissance, Leonardo da Vinci went down in history not only as a great artist, but also a scientist. He anticipated the discoveries made many centuries later, they outlined the main principles of aviation, made valuable discoveries in anatomy physiology of plants.

The great poet and thinker Alisher of Navoi understand that science is the spiritual emancipation of man, the people whose interests were placed above all else. There are no more or less deserving of attention to the issue of public and even academic life, which he would not say a word and would define his attitude to it.

 Exploring the literary works of Alisher Navoi, it may be noted that he showed himself to be a true innovator in many areas. With deep respect, referring to the artistic values created before him, to develop traditional stories and the characters and involved new content in them - says Candidate of Philology Omonulla Madaev.

Thematic focus of lyrical works of Alisher Navoi as relevant as ever today. Their modernity is that the poet puts into the center of the human person as the highest miraculous creation of God. The basis of the universe are his deeds thoughts, feelings, and the high destiny. Alisher of Navoi wrote: "If someone heartily support emotionally humiliated and frustrated man, his kindness proportionate to re-built the Kaaba destroyed".

As never deeply and comprehensively in his works the poet raises the issue of homeland, says that a person absorb fr om it his strengthbut being in a foreign country - he is a slave. Let a foreign land will be for him a golden cage, but nightingale does not sing in the cell and does not breed, and the person does not rejoice in a foreign country! - he exclaims. Through the poetic word he first time raises the issue of social inequality condemns greed, ignorance, raises issues of morality and spirituality. Very subtly conveys the psychological state of the individual, leading to the emotional level of high tragedy:

I beat into breast with a stone blood flows.

This is not from my wound, it is stone cries with blood.

In the XV century that his mother tongue was granted the status of a literary of Navoi wrote linguistic work Muhakamat al-lugatayn" ("Controversy of two languages ) in which not only compares the Turkic Persian languages, but as a linguist analyzes the concept of words, shares examples. Alisher of Navoi also writes Uzbek historical works "History of the Kings of Ajam", "History of the prophets and scholars", "Beloved of hearts" ("Mahbub ul-Kulub ) an anthology of Collection of favorites" ("Majalis-an-nafais") and philosophical treatises, biographies of a number of his contemporaries, and others.

Scientific incredibly fabulous ideas for that time are present in many works of Navoi, even in his lyrics.

In the Uzbek language there is a word Muhandis - the engineer. In his divan Helpful Hints of old age there is such a couplet:

If I could find an engineer, I would have ordered wings,

I could fly with birds in the sky.

of Navoi is not talking about fairy magic carpet or flying horse, but means something else. He talks about the wings in scientific terms - gives an idea of the aircraft, which will be implemented only in the XIX century! Let us recall that the desire to rise into the air drove also great Leonardo da Vinci.

The summit of creativity of Navoi, its his main work - Khamsa" ("Quinate ), showing all the power and capabilities of the native language - is a kind of response (nazira) on Quinate of Nizami Ganjavi Amir Khusrau Dehlevi Abdurrahman Jami, written in Persian. And the poet retains all the poems system of versification, which wrote the previous authors thus proving that the ability of the Uzbek language correspond to writing great lyric-epic works.

Assessing "Quinate" of Navoi, Jami enthusiastically exclaims: The Creator is the Creator because he commanded Navoi to write "Quinate" in Uzbek language!

It is an encyclopedia a storehouse of scientific ideas and philosophical thoughts. From the very first lines of the poem The confusion of the righteous", the poet, admiring devotees of science, celebrates people active, energetic, aspiring to clear generally useful purpose.

In conversation "On sublimity of stars of heaven of knowledge" writes:

Who turns science into a means of profit, wealth, career,

Plunges into the abyss not only himself, but also his people.

In the poem The Seven Planets , which is part of "Quinate" describes the master Zaide Zahhabe. Shah orders him to build a throne of gold. And after one year the work is done:

Eight stages led to the throne .

But all is made with such ability,

What if Shah raised on them,

They bowed under his foot,

To his feet went down one after another .

But here he passed eight stages,

But here’s the lord sat down on the throne -

Then stages rose again.

Shah raised an eyebrow in surprise.

At the request of the Shah’s throne also "goes" straight, left and right. In his book about Navoi, published in 1948, the famous orientalist Evgeniy Bertels writes that genius of Navoi invents in the XV century escalator and automobile.

In the poem "Farhad and Shirin" fantastic images are no longer a creation of supernatural forces, but matter of the human mind, knowledge and skills aimed at creating public goods. Especially rich in elements of scientific and technical nature is a poem "The Wall of Iskander". There are episodes describing studies of the deep sea with the help of submarines, thanks to underwater vehicles the protagonist sees the underwater reefs, plants, and animals. During the trip which commits Iskander under the guidance of Socrates, orders to measure the length of rivers, maintain appropriate records. Here again mentioned bowl Jam-Jamshid , wh ere you can see the whole world - the prototype of modern television.

Despite the fact that Alisher Navoi lived in the XV century it seems to me he is a full citizen of the XXI century, and his ideas, thoughts and creations continued till now to illuminate our path. They serve the spiritual enrichment of society and the prosperity of the state - independent Uzbekistan, upbringing of the younger generation as true persons, worthy of a high rank of man and citizen of the country.
