On November 10, the official welcoming ceremony of the President of the Italian Republic Sergio Mattarella, who is in Uzbekistan on an official visit at the invitation of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, took place at the Kuksaroy Residence.
A guard of honor was lined up in the square in front of the residence.
The President of Uzbekistan and his spouse warmly greeted the President of Italy and his daughter, the first lady of the country.
A military band performed the national anthems of the two countries.
The heads of state walked around the guard of honor and greeted members of the official delegations.
After joint photographing, high-level talks began.
