In order to ensure further sustainable development of the automotive industry and deepen the level of production localization of engine resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers has been approved the arrangements for the production of aluminum parts for engines of "General Motors Powertrain-Uzbekistan".
According to the document, "Uzavtosanoat" and the company «INZI AMT Co., Ltd.» (Republic of Korea) agreed on a project to organize the production of aluminum parts by high-precision injection molding. A joint venture «UZAUTO-INZI» in the form of a limited liability company with registered capital in the amount equivalent of 10 million US dollars has been created for this goal. Start of production is scheduled for January 1, 2017.
43 names of component parts for vehicles, engines and generators with an annual production volume of more than 2.4 thousand tons of aluminum castings per year is planned to master on creating the production, reports the press service of "Uzavtosanoat".
