The leaders of Uzbekistan and Turkey discussed topical issues of multifaceted cooperation

Today, a telephone conversation took place between the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan, a Dunyo correspondent reports.

According to the Press Service of the head of state, topical issues of further expansion of the Uzbek-Turkish multifaceted cooperation and strengthening of comprehensive strategic partnership were considered.

With great satisfaction, the progressive dynamics of practical cooperation in the political, trade, economic, investment, cultural and humanitarian spheres, as well as fruitful contacts between the regions of the two countries were noted.

The importance of promoting new industrial cooperation projects, including in the energy, mining, food, textile and other industries, was emphasized.

A schedule of upcoming joint events was considered, including holding a regular meeting of the Council for Strategic Cooperation at the highest level.

There was also an exchange of views on issues of the regional agenda.
