The heads of the foreign ministries of Uzbekistan and Hungary stated that significant progress has been achieved in bilateral cooperation

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary, Péter Szijjártó, in Antalya.

“As we are celebrating the 32nd anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between our two nations, covered the full spectrum of Uzbekistan and Hungary ties with H.E. Péter Szijjártó, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary”, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan wrote in his telegram channel. “There is strong progress in our comprehensive cooperation and even more achievements are to come in the near future, especially in the economic dimension”.

On March 3, 1992, a protocol was signed in Budapest on the establishment of diplomatic relations between Uzbekistan and Hungary.
