The greatest, the dearest holiday

Festive celebrations dedicated to the 27th anniversary of independence of Uzbekistan took place at “Uzbekiston” International Forums Palace.

It was attended by representatives of state and public organizations, members of the government, employees of ministries and agencies, compatriots, working in various spheres, heads of diplomatic missions of foreign countries and representative offices of international organizations.

The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev took part at the event.

The Head of the state congratulated all people of Uzbekistan on the twenty-seventh anniversary of independence and delivered a speech.

This year the program of festive celebrations included special performances. Songs, poems glorifying the homeland, independence and courage, performances by servicemen, dances performed by children replaced each other on the stage. Samples of world classics were performed.

Festive events are continuing in all cities and villages of the country.
