At the Uzbek National Academic Drama Theatre, Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan conducted the awarding ceremony of the Republican contest "The best stage work of the year", according to the National Information Agency UzA.
Over a hundred students in college of culture and art in the direction of acting and directing business presented their creative works.
They are evaluated based on criteria such as the relevance of the theme, the idea of the national spirit, the artistic level of drama, artistic integrity of the performance, the director’s interpretation, acting, performance level, stage and musical arrangement, scenic culture.
The first place of the competition was awarded to representatives of Karshi College of Art. Second and third places were taken by the students of the Tashkent college of culture and the Republican variety-circus college.
There have also been identified and awarded the winners in the categories "Best Lead Actor", "Best Actor", "Best Actress", "Best Director", "Best cameo", "The best stage design", "The best musical arrangement" "Exemplary scenic culture."
