The newly appointed Ambassador of Uzbekistan, Nodirjon Turgunov, presented copies of his credentials to the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia for Protocol Affairs, Abdulmajeed Al-Smari.
At the meeting held at the Foreign Ministry, the current state and prospects of bilateral cooperation between Uzbekistan and Saudi Arabia, as well as current issues on the international agenda, were discussed.
Abdulmajeed Al-Smari highly appreciated the large-scale reforms being implemented under the leadership of the President of Uzbekistan and noted the country’s significant progress in foreign policy and ensuring stable economic growth. He also expressed his readiness to contribute to strengthening and developing bilateral relations in all aspects.
Following the meeting, the Deputy Foreign Minister of Saudi Arabia wished the Ambassador success in consistently developing relations between the two states.
