The first racket of our country Denis Istomin started with a victory in Switzerland at international tournament in a series of competitions of the Association of Tennis Professionals.
In the first round of the prestigious competition our compatriot won the Frenchman Maxime Teixeira with the score 6:0, 6:4. In the second round, Denis will play against the winner of the meeting between Swiss Henri Laaksonen and Portuguese Joao Sousa.
The leader of the women’s national team on tennis of Uzbekistan Nigina Abduraimova has successfully passed the qualifying round held in Azerbaijan’s capital Baku tournament "Baku Cup - 2015" in a series of competitions WTA. Nigina qualified for the main round, beating Russian woman Ksenia Lykina with a score of 6:4, 6:4 and Italian Nastasia Burnett with a score of 7:5, 6:3.
Our young tennis players Temur Ismailov and Sanjar Faiziev are successfully participate in the tournament "Challenger" in Astana, Kazakhstan.
In the first round of the tournament Temur Ismailov defeated Kazakhstani Denis Yevseyev with a score of 3:6, 7:5, 6:3, and Sanjar Faiziev defeated Frenchman Alexis Musialeka - 0:6, 7:6, 6:3.
