Solar photoelectric station opens in Namangan region

Grand opening of the testing solar photoelectric station took place in Pap district of Namangan region, reports IA UzReport.

The event was attended by the general of Namangan region, representatives of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea and specialists of Korean companies.

The main purpose of solar photoelectric station is to test modern types of solar panels and modules with different technological solutions, identifying their technical and economic parameters in the climatic conditions of Uzbekistan for the subsequent selection of the most effective solutions that provide high efficiency.

The station will also serve as a platform to enhance practical skills operation of solar photoelectric plants and training of Uzbek specialists in the field of solar energy.

The memorandum on the construction of a test solar photoelectric station of 130 kW using the most advanced Korean technologies was signed between the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy of the Republic of Korea.

According to the results of the practical implementation of the memorandum of grant funds of 700 thousand USD from Korean side, a modern solar photoelectric station was build.

Equipment was delivered by Korean companies «Hanwha», «JSP VS-Energy» and «TopSun», members of the Association of the photoelectric industry in Korea.

Construction, installation and commissioning were carried out by specialists of "Uzbekenergo", with the assistance of the Association of the photoelectric industry in Korea. The station will supply the energy system with 500-600 kWh of electricity daily.
