Samarkand will host a festival Sharq Durdonalari

From 10 to 12 April Samarkand will host a festival Sharq Durdonalari ("Pearls of the East"), according to the press service of "Uzbektourism".

At the fair will bring together experts and crafts, artisans, representatives of various dynasties of ceramists, engravers, painters, embroiderers and many others. They bring in Samarkand thousands of hand-made products.

The festival, which will be held at the art center Suzane, will bring together about 150 artists, folk Bakhshi, designers, chefs, jewelers and musicians.

The main organizer of the project is the Art Life Media. The project partners are the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan, "Uzbektourism", municipality of the city of Samarkand, Dinara Tour Service and Dika Travel.

The event is aimed at supporting creative dynasties and talented craftsmen, providing the general public with the trends in the field of arts and preservation of the cultural heritage of Uzbekistan.

The project has developed a number of educational, cultural and entertainment programs. In particular, the performances of folk groups and presentation of the national puppet theater will create a special atmosphere of a traditional "Eastern bazaar".

In order to demonstrate the historical heritage and national traditions of Uzbekistan in the program included cockfights, and performances by folk groups with national games, dances, songs.
