Results of 2014: Uzbekistan attracted 169 foreign grants with the amount of $ 215,5 million

In 2014, the Republic of Uzbekistan attracted 169 foreign grants totaling $ 215,5 million, reports the press-service of the Ministry of Finance of Uzbekistan.

In particular, 48 grants in the amount of 89,5 million US dollars were allocated to the field of education, science and training of employees. For the development of health and environment it has been directed 35 grants and 11 respectively.

In addition, 13 million US dollars (6 grants) have been disbursed in the areas of technical equipment for law enforcement and customs authorities, 10,8 million US dollars (8 grants) in the introduction of modern information and communication technologies, 6,4 million US dollars (26 grants) in social protection and development of culture and sports.
