REPRESENTATIVES OF BUSINESS CIRCLES OF GERMANY: WE ARE DELIGHTED TO TAKE PART IN THE FURTHER MODERNIZATION OF THE ECONOMY OF UZBEKISTAN

Congratulations on the occasion of 24th anniversary of independence addressing the Uzbek people are still coming. Once again, the representatives of Germany have sent the warm friendly messages.

Jan-Hendrik Mohr, Co-chairman of the German-Uzbek Business Council, a member of the board of CLAAS:

— I am very glad that now the cooperation between Germany and Uzbekistan is actively developing in all directions, including in the economic sphere. Creation of German-Uzbek Business Council this year suggests that the business circles of the two countries show mutual interest to further deepen mutually beneficial relations.

Our company has been active in the country for many years. In Tashkent operates fruitfully our joint venture UzCLAAS Agro, which in cooperation with the Uzbek partners produces combine harvesters, tractors and other agricultural machinery.

We aim to expand our cooperation in the coming years. In particular, the plan to increase the localization of production in the country, primarily for the production of tractors. We intend to export the products of the joint venture UzCLAAS Agro machinery.

I take this opportunity to sincerely congratulate the Uzbek people on the landmark date - the 24th anniversary of independence of the republic and wish the people of your country further prosperity!

Udo Völker, Bearer of the Order "Dustlik", a member of the German-Uzbek Business Council, a senior consultant at CLAAS:

— 2015 began with the intensification of cooperation between the two countries in trade, economic and investment spheres. I am glad that today our company has a unique chance to take part in the further modernization of Uzbekistan’s economy with advanced German technology and equipment.

It should be noted that over the years of independent development successive structural reforms have been carried out in the country and stable economic growth has been achieved. These successes are the result of well thought-out national development strategy, which was developed and implemented under the leadership of President Islam Karimov.

Taking this opportunity, I would like to convey my sincere congratulations on the national holiday to all Uzbek people. Let the country is always thriving and strengthen the friendship between our peoples!

Professor Jörg Rohol, President of the European School of Management and Technology (ESMT) in Berlin:

— In July of this year I made a three-day trip to sunny Uzbekistan, during which I visited Tashkent and the ancient city of Samarkand. I was very impressed by the rich culture and glorious history of the Uzbek people, great ancestors who made an invaluable contribution to the development of world science.

We are very glad to cooperate with the country in the field of education and training of highly qualified personnel. Soon will start the implementation of joint educational programs on corporate governance between the School of Business in Tashkent and ESMT.

In this project we want to contribute to the improvement of corporate governance, and we hope that our joint efforts will make a significant contribution to the further development of the young independent Uzbekistan.

I am very pleased to have this opportunity to convey on behalf of the staff of the European School of Management and Technology, and myself, to all our Uzbek friends warm congratulations on this significant date. Congratulations to you, dear Uzbek people!
