President proposes to develop a program to reduce poverty

In his Address, the Head of the state expressed his opinion on poverty, income, and creation of new jobs, and spoke about new projects being implemented to reduce poverty.

“I have been working on this issue for a year and a half in 22 rural districts of Fergana region”, says the Head of the state. “We must gradually implement a project to develop modern business skills among the population in all regions. We knew about this, but we could not speak openly, because there was no land, project, or proposal.

From a cooperative point of view, 200 million USD has been allocated to districts and villages of valley through each bank, we study what people should do, how they work, change people’s outlook with low incomes and give them appropriate loans, says Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

The President noted that this practice is well received by people. There are sufficient funds to apply this experience in other regions.
