On December 20, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with the Emperor of Japan Naruhito, in Tokyo.
The Emperor, sincerely welcoming the distinguished guest, emphasized that this visit became an important event in strengthening Uzbekistan – Japan friendship and strategic partnership, and brought bilateral relations to a qualitatively new level.
The President of Uzbekistan expressed deep respect to Emperor Naruhito and emphasized that in the new era of the “Rave” harmonious development will continue, the international authority of the country and the welfare of its population will continue to grow.
A reception was held in honor of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and his spouse Ziroat Mirziyoyeva on behalf of Emperor Naruhito and Empress Masako. Joint photographing ceremony was also held.
