PRESENTATION IN JOHOR BAHRU

Uzbekistan’s potential in textile industry has been presented in the Malaysian city of Johor Bahru (State of Johor).

The meeting was organized by the Malaysian Association of Knitwear Manufacturers. Representatives of more than 20 spinning, knitting enterprises, importers of cotton fiber, as well as individual manufacturers of finished products received information about the opportunities textile industry of Uzbekistan offers.

Director of D&Y Textile, Steven Cheng, said that "currently, the company annually imports 20 thousand tons of cotton fiber. By 2018, we plan to increase imports up to 45 thousand tons per year. Uzbekistan is among the potential partners.”
