On October 24-31, Tashkent will host the country’s largest exhibition event - the 10th International Industrial Fair and Cooperation Exchange.
Enhancement of localization of production and expansion of inter-sectoral industrial cooperation are seen important factors of economic development and reformation, as eloquently proved by the steady growth of volumes of localized products in the structure of domestic industrial production.
It stands to reason that the main purpose of the event comes to optimization of production of business entities, strengthening and development of intra and cross-sector cooperation, provision of information on domestic products, assistance in search for new partners and drawing up contracts for product supply, including export.
The International Industrial Fair and Cooperation Exchange will strengthen the mechanisms of effective cooperation between producers and consumers, introduce the participants and visitors to technical and technological capacity of businesses, their progress, promoting mutual experience exchange.
The outcomes of previous fairs demonstrated the increasing interest of domestic enterprises and foreign partners in the establishment and development of industrial cooperation, delivery and procurement systems, establishment of production of new products. 224 companies presented their products in the IIFCE in 2007, while 2,000 companies presented more than 22,000 kinds of products in 2015.
The International Industrial Fair and Cooperation Exchange will bring together more than 2,200 domestic enterprises, companies, organizations and small businesses. They will present more than 24,000 kinds of finished products, components and materials for mechanical engineering, automotive, electrical, construction, metallurgy, chemical, oil and gas, food and light industries, pharmaceutics.
The country’s leading industrial enterprises will hold presentations. The participants will also have an opportunity to see a catalog of industrial products of Uzbekistan, which was issued specifically on the occasion of IIFCE.
NUMBERS
The last year’s fair was attended by over 100,000 people, 1,300 representatives of firms and companies from 55 countries. The agreements concluded totaled over 11 trillion soums, and export contracts exceeded $8 billion.
