Uzbekistan Olympic team will perform in the finals of the Asian Youth Championship U-23, which will be held in January 2016 in Qatar, according to the Football Federation of Uzbekistan.
On May 20 the final matches of qualification tournament passed. In one of them the leader of the group "B" - Jordan played draw with Kuwait - 3: 3. After this result, Jordan with seven points in the asset received the right to participate in the Asian Championships from the first place, while Kuwait came second in the group, scored 4 points. To qualify for the continental championship to Kuwait it was not enough.
Thus, among all qualified from the second places the team of Uzbekistan qualified for the final of the championship. Recall, that having played in the "E" group, our team scored 6 points.
It should be noted that according to the regulations of the tournament at the Asian Championship will compete 10 teams, who took 1st place in their groups, as well as 5 teams, who caught the 2nd places, and at the same time having the best performance among all second-team qualification.
