NAC TRANSPORTS OVER 1.8 MILLION PASSENGERS

According to the results of the first 9 months of 2016, the National airline company of Uzbekistan has performed 16.69 thousand flights. 1882 thousand passengers used the services of the national company.

On the directions of the far abroad, the company performed 4569 flights, to the CIS countries - 6076 flights, on domestic routes - 6047 flights. The company transported 624.5 thousand passengers to the far abroad countries, 857 thousand passengers to the CIS countries and 400 thousand passengers on domestic flights.

Cargo planes of NAC performed 734 flights, 46 flights more than during the same period last year. 30.6 thousand tons of cargo was transported.

According to preliminary results, the airline’s revenues will amount to over 1.9 trillion soums and expenses - 1.8 trillion soums. The export forecast was executed for 100%, mandatory sale of foreign currency - for 85.9% from the adjusted forecast.

Currently, two investment projects are under implementation: update and unification of the fleet and the construction of a new international passenger terminal at the airport of Tashkent (Tashkent-4).

The work on the opening of new routes, increasing frequencies on existing routes is being actively conducted. A new direction of Tashkent-Voronezh-Tashkent was opened. The first flight in this direction was made on June 14 this year; flights are operated with a frequency of once a week.

NAC "Uzbekistan Airways" has concluded Multilateral Interline agreement with airline company "Air Europa" on the mutual recognition of electronic documents and with "Atlas Global Airlines" within MITA Cargo, as well as bilateral interline agreements with airlines "Silk Way West Airlines" and "Silk Road Cargo Business". The company signed "Code Cher" agreements with the airlines "Siberia Airlines" and "Belavia".
