The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov met today in London with the Speaker of the House of Commons of the United Kingdom Lindsay Hoyle, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
"Had a productive meeting with the Rt Hon Sir Lindsay Hoyle, Speaker of the UK House of Commons, – the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan wrote in his telegram-channel. – Our discussions centered on strengthening the ties between Uzbekistan and the UK, reflecting the deepening partnership between our nations.
We explored avenues to enhance inter-parliamentary cooperation, which is essential for promoting mutual understanding and advancing shared goals in trade, education, security, and other areas.
Expanding people-to-people relations remains an integral part of our dynamic foreign policy".
