Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan holds meetings with Ambassadors from the UAE, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Oman

Today, Bakhtiyor Saidov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan received the Ambassadors of the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Oman, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

“Today at the Ministry, we received the heads of diplomatic missions of the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the State of Qatar and the Sultanate of Oman accredited to Uzbekistan, - the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan wrote in his telegram-channel. - Exchanged views on the situation in the Middle East.

We expressed concern over developments posing a threat to regional security and emphasized the importance of preventing further escalation, as well as resolving all conflicts through diplomatic means and in accordance with the norms of international law.

We also discussed issues related to further advancing bilateral and multilateral relations between Uzbekistan and the Gulf Arab states, as well as expanding cooperation within the framework of the “Central Asia – Gulf Cooperation Council” format”.
