On February 14, 2020, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ilkhom Nematov met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan Huseyn Guliyev, Uzbekistan MFA reports.
The sides exchanged views on Uzbekistan – Azerbaijan agenda for 2020, including a schedule of contacts and joint events at various levels.
The two countries confirmed their interest in further strengthening friendly relations between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan in political, trade-economic, investment, transport-communication, tourism, cultural-humanitarian and other areas.
Issues of interaction within the framework of international and regional organizations were also discussed at the meeting.
