MFA announces the upcoming three regional events at the level of foreign ministers in Samarkand

In the coming days, the city of Samarkand will become the venue for several major international events, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.

According to Uzbekistan MFA, on April 13, a meeting of foreign ministers of Afghanistan’s neighboring countries will be held here. The heads of the foreign ministries of Uzbekistan, Iran, China, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Russia will consider the current situation in Afghanistan.

On April 14, a meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the CIS is expected to be held in Samarkand with the participation of delegations from Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, Russia, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan and the CIS Executive Committee. The participants will exchange views on the current issues on the international agenda and interaction within the CIS, a discussion of the implementation of joint programs, as well as draft documents submitted for consideration by the Council of Heads of State of the Commonwealth.

On the same day, Samarkand will host the sixth meeting of foreign ministers of Central Asia and Russia.
