On October 17, 2016 the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov met with the Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation Iyad Amin Madani, who arrived in Uzbekistan.
During the meeting the sides discussed the issues related to the 43rd session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the OIC in the framework of the chairmanship of Uzbekistan in the Council of Foreign Ministers, which is opening on October 18 in Tashkent.
The parties exchanged views on the agenda and other practical aspects of the ministerial meeting and confirmed their interest in the successful holding the upcoming forum.
