On October 17, 2016 the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Elmar Mammadyarov, who arrived in Tashkent to attend the 43rd session of the Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.
The Ministers discussed the state and prospects of bilateral relations and exchanged views on some international and regional problems.
At the meeting special attention has been paid to issues of the agenda of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers and holding other events in the framework of Uzbekistan’s chairmanship in the organization.
The Ambassador of Azerbaijan Huseyn Guliyev attended the meeting.
