On September 26-30, 2016, Almaty hosted a regular meeting of the Joint Uzbek-Kazakh Demarcation Commission with the participation of Governmental delegations of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Kazakhstan.
At the meeting the sides continued reviewing and approving final documents prepared at expert level on demarcation, which will be annexed to the draft Treaty on the Demarcation of the Uzbek-Kazakh State Border.
The talks were held in a business setting, in the spirit of friendship and mutual understanding.
