On 21-25 November, 2016 Tashkent hosted the regular 54th meeting of the Joint Uzbek-Kazakh Demarcation Commission.
During the meeting of the Governmental delegations of the two countries continued the preparation and approval of demarcation documents of the Uzbek-Kazakh state border.
The sides summed up the demarcation work carried out in 2016, and agreed on the amount of work for 2017.
The meeting was held in a friendly and constructive atmosphere.
