August 24, 2015 the International Caravanserai of Culture of Ikuo Hirayama will host the opening of exhibition of masterpieces of coinage of People’s Artist of Uzbekistan Salimjon Khamidov, according to the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan.
The exhibition will be presented unique works from the collection of the Memorial Museum usto Salimjon Khamidov, revived at the time of Bukhara school of art beaten copper, also named after him.
This year, his colleagues and students, as well as admirers will celebrate the 95th anniversary of his birth.
