On March 11, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev had a telephone conversation with the President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The President of Uzbekistan cordially congratulated President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on his birthday, sincerely wishing good health and prosperity, great success in his activities, peace and prosperity to the friendly people of the UAE.

The leaders of the two countries also exchanged warm congratulations on the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan for the entire Muslim world.

The current highest level of Uzbekistan – UAE multifaceted cooperation was noted with deep satisfaction.

In 2023, trade turnover increased by 20 percent. There are over 300 enterprises in Uzbekistan, and with the participation of UAE capital, the portfolio of joint projects exceeded $4 billion. In addition, promising projects are being developed in high technology, energy, geology, agriculture, tourism, IT, infrastructure, logistics, and others.

Mutual readiness to intensify practical interaction in all areas was confirmed. The importance of carefully preparing the agenda for upcoming high-level meetings was emphasized.
