Inha University in Tashkent (IUT) and the Directorate of the special industrial zone "Angren" on October 20 signed a memorandum of understanding, according to the press-service of the university.
The Rector of Inha University in Tashkent Sherzod Shermatov and Head of Directorate of SIZ "Angren" Sohib Saifnazarov signed the memorandum.
The parties intend to develop cooperation in four areas. In particular, Inha University in Tashkent and management of SIZ "Angren" can start a program of educational grants for gifted high school students.
The two sides also agreed to launch projects aimed at the development, implementation, maintenance and further modernization of the software which is necessary for the development and promotion of enterprises of SIZ "Angren". IUT Students will be involved in these projects, which will help strengthen the skills of future professionals.
The parties will also cooperate in the implementation of other projects for the introduction of innovative solutions in the activities of enterprises of SIZ "Angren", the development of Internet and mobile applications, the development and support of software products based on modern technologies to improve logistics and marketing chains of production.
Another area of partnership between the two institutions will be the training and development of employees of the Directorate of SIZ "Angren" in the field of integrated implementation and effective use of modern information technologies.
The training program will be implemented by organizing a series of training courses, contributing to the development of system analysis skills, ability to consider the time and resource constraints in the design of information systems and the implementation of IT-projects. Experienced lecturers and trainers among the leading practitioners in the field will be attracted to this activity.
