On April 20, 2015 a meeting of the Council of the Senate of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan.
The meeting was carried on by the Senate’s chairman N.Yuldoshev.
Council adopted a resolution on the convening of the second plenary session of the Senate of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan on May 15 this year in Tashkent.
The agenda of the plenary session of the Senate introduced a number of laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan, aimed at reforming and sequential liberalization of all spheres of political, social and economic life. Among them are the laws "On compulsory insurance of civil liability of the carrier", "On the Securities Market" (new edition), "On electronic commerce" (new edition), "On amendments and additions, as well as the Repeal of Certain Legislative Acts of the Republic Uzbekistan "and other laws providing for the further deepening of social and economic reforms to improve the investment climate and business environment, business development, improving the legal and judicial sphere, information security.
The agenda of the plenary session will also introduced a number of laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the ratification of international treaties.
Along with this at the next plenary session of the Senate to discuss reports on the activities of the Commissioner of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Human Rights (Ombudsman), the Chamber of Accounts of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for nature protection in 2014.
At the plenary session will be discussed other issues related to the competence of the Senate of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan.
To coordinate the work of the committees and the Apparat of the Senate for the preparation and holding of the second plenary session of Council a working group was established.
