Committee of the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis on Industry, Construction and Trade held a "round table", devoted to the implementation of the Program of localization of production of finished products, components and materials.
As the press service of the Chamber reports, the event was attended by members of the lower house of parliament, businessmen and media representatives.
During it, it was noted that the increase in the level of localization of finished products plays an important role in the further dynamic and sustainable development of the economy, reducing its dependence on external factors that accelerate the introduction of new, efficient technologies in production processes. That is why the localization in Uzbekistan is one of the main directions of development of the industry, ensuring the use of local raw materials and production resources, an increase on this basis, production of modern competitive products.
As a result, in 2010-2014, enterprises implementing projects of localization of production of finished products, components and materials that were produced to 46 trillion soums. Over the past period, the volume of domestic production of localized goods increased by 2,3 times.
Among the companies taking part in the reduction of imports, includes such structures as Technology De Lavenir Ltd., producing accessories and components for windows and doors made of aluminum and PVC profiles, FE Vesta Electric and JV Plastic Modernity, producing electrical products, including energy-saving lamp.
The participants of the "round table" acquainted with the activities of these enterprises, production technology and range of their products. They discussed issues of domestic producers of new privileges and preferences, creating favorable conditions for business.
Following the event, proposals for further improvement of the regulatory framework sector were expressed.
