Egyptian "Shabab al-Nil" about the formation and development of a multiparty system in Uzbekistan

On the pages of the Egyptian newspaper "Shabab al-Nil" (Youth of Egypt) published an article "The formation and development of a multiparty system in the Republic of Uzbekistan: theoretical and practical issues".

It details the historical stages of the formation of political parties in our country.

According to the publication, from 1991 to 2000 in the country was actively work to establish the foundations of the political system, and in the period 2001-2010, carried out further liberalization of the political and economic life, the processes of state and public construction.

Particular attention in publication is paid to the fact that since 2011 in Uzbekistan, on the initiative of President Islam Karimov, nominated conceptual directions for democratization of state power and administration, reform of the judicial system, the improvement of the electoral system, the development of civil society, deepening market reforms.

In conclusion its emphasized that the legal framework established for the years of independence, has served as a strong legislative framework to ensure broad public and political activities of political parties, has opened up new opportunities to further enhance their role, authority and status in society, their efficiency and enhance their powers.
